Gypsy Yacht Management is a hands on no-nonsense yacht delivery and brokerage company whose reaches and influence span the globe. It was founded by 2 very experienced sailors that have made themselves known across the oceans. We've used our 30 years of sailing experience in creating peace of mind for our clients.
We enjoy direct contact with our clients, and reliable correspondence with our sailors who give us regular updates of their progress. We offer them continual assistance and support throughout their voyage, and supply them with info on routes, anchorages, immigration formalities, contacts for repairs, sailboats and powerboats, right down to the best places to buy stocks!! Our skippers and crew each have a history with us and are part of the Gypsy Yacht Management family. We know our skippers, and even crew, on a personal basis and have instilled in them the need to have yachts under there command treated as there own. The result – a highly skilled, qualified and conscientious repertoire of captains and crew that we know we can rely on.
At Gypsy Yacht Management we take no chances and undergo meticulous preparation for our voyages. Our skippers are safety conscious and give rigorous inspection to the vessels prior to departure, ensuring that all necessary adjustments and repairs are made timeously and efficiently. The Gypsy Yacht Management Team
Gypsy Yacht Management is founded and directed by 2 very experienced sailors, Gary Ruger and his son Jason. Gary, the captain of all captains and co-founder of Gypsy Yacht Management, is an extremely knowledgeable and competent seaman. He began sailing in 1970, and has since owned 9 yachts, sailed 300 000 miles and has completed over 23 yacht deliveries to date. Gary acts as delivery skipper and sales consultant. He still insists on doing some of the deliveries himself because he simply loves sailing. Please view his most recent deliveries and references and qualifications.
I, Jason, obtained my love of the sea from my father and it was under his command that I learned to sail. I am the acting correspondent, administrator, sales consultant and financial manager of Gypsy Yacht management.
